Club Links

At St Luke's we are really proud of our strong links with local sports clubs such as Wigan Athletic, Leigh Centurions, Wigan Warriors, Leigh Sport in Trust, Lancashire County Cricket and Golborne Hockey Club.

The Daily Mile

St Luke's has signed up to the Daily Mile. Everyday our staff and pupils will go for a run. The aim of the the Daily Mile is to improve the physical, emotional and social health and well being of our children.

The Daily Mile isn't just about exercise, it has numerous health and wellbeing benefits for children, whether they run, jog or walk.

Our launch started with an assembly, followed by a run from the junior cross country champions and expert roller skating from Oliver Stephenson in Year4.
