Year 6 Home Learning - Summer Term 2

To ensure your child/children continue to access learning from home, I have provided a list of year six activities and resources that are the main focus of learning at this stage of the school year. These resources include both written worksheets and online learning activities. The following web links can be used to access a wealth of useful resources.

Year 6

This is a link to some really good Maths and English activities. They are similar to the activities that we use in class.

Remember to look at the letters in the stars in the bottom corner:

D – easier

E – medium

GD – tricky!

Choose the level that you would like to have a go at.

Lots of maths activities here – there are daily arithmetic questions too (Like our ‘Fluent in Five’)

Try different spelling rules for Year 5 and 6. Remember you can access spelling rules for any year group if you feel like you want to revisit some from Year 3 and 4.

All the above are used often in school.

A new test will be set for you to work through.

English and maths activities – no sign up is required to access most resources.

Free online maths and English games.

A free online learning site packed full of maths, reading, grammar and spelling activities for children to use independently. (Requires sign up by a parent for free).

There are a number of resources available on the website that you can work through with your child including a list of useful websites.  Should there be any further updates we will send you a message either through the school text messaging service or Class DOJO.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Eastham
